Sensors in viticulture

The climatic conditions in Germany/Europe are changing more and more. Wine growing is also affected by this. Many growing areas can now grow southern wine varieties. LoRaWAN sensors can support this restructuring. Targeted water and nutrient control are just two examples.

Monitoring soil moisture

If a new vineyard is being planted, the water supply is a very important factor. Sensors show you when watering is necessary. Do you also know the difference between purely natural areas and areas treated with broad-spectrum or total herbicides? Place sensors on different surfaces and better understand the factors influencing water absorption in different soils.

Temperature and humidity

Monocultures are susceptible to diseases or pests. Sensors support the application of crop protection products. Humidity and temperature are essential factors when it comes to plant protection.

No limits with LoRaWAN sensors

Whether an entire weather station or individual sensors. There are now sensors for almost every application. We find the precise temperature measurement of individual grapes particularly interesting, for example to see the perfect time for the ice grape harvest. From the comfort of your office.
